What We Collect

When you create a Recollect account, we collect:

• Account info: Your email address, name (optional), and hashed password.
• Imported conversations: The AI conversation files you upload (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor exports).
• Usage data: Page views, feature usage, and anonymized analytics to improve the product. We hash IP addresses and do not store raw IPs.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the Recollect service (storing, searching, and organizing your conversations).
• To send you essential account emails (welcome, password reset).
• To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Your conversations are yours.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon (US region). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. All connections use TLS encryption.

• Render: Application hosting
• Stripe: Payment processing (Pro plan)
• Google OAuth: Optional sign-in (when enabled)

Data Export & Deletion

You can export all your data at any time from the dashboard (Pro plan). To delete your account and all associated data, email recollect@polsia.app.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We use Meta Pixel for conversion tracking on public pages. No third-party tracking cookies are used in the authenticated app.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
